INSTRUCTION FOR PARTICIPANTS
- Visit the conference program to plan your attendance and sign up for various non-track and non-plenary sessions:

- Meetings that you would like to organize or attend during lunches
- Posters that you would like to discuss with their authors during coffee break 2. Register and receive the welcome bag at the reception desk located at: o the ground floor of the main building of the Gdańsk University of Technology directly from the main entrance, or
- the European Solidarity Centre, open on 11.07.2023 from 18:00 to 21:00 3. Wear the conference registration badge at all times at the conference and during evening events
- Connect to WIFI using the information available at the back of the conference badge 5. Charging points and water dispensers will be provided in each room
- The tables where food will be served will contain information about allergic ingredients. 7. The reception desk at the ground floor of the Gdańsk University of Technology’s main building, directly from the main entrance, will be open throughout the conference; please approach the desk with any questions or requests.

Please note that, as a non-paying participant, you are not eligible to use conference hospitality services at coffee breaks, lunches, welcome reception or dinner
INSTRUCTION FOR PRESENTERS

- Prepare your presentation in the PDF, PPT or PPTX file format
- Login to your Google account and upload the file to the appropriate session folder before the start of the session
- If you don’t have a Google account, send the file by email to jaromir.durkiewicz@pg.edu.pl with the subject “dg.o presentation”
- For security reasons, we are not supporting the use of memory sticks to transfer presentation files from the authors’ computers to projector-connected computers available in every conference room
- For the same reasons, we are not supporting plugging in authors’ computers directly to the projects available in every conference room
- Approach your session chair before the start of the session
- Plan to present your paper for no more than 15 minutes
- 5 minutes after your presentation will be devoted for questions from the audience, so please take advantage of that
- Your session chair will also have some questions to ask, if there is time, and will send them by email
- On the first day of the conference, the published articles are to be sent by ACM to the authors
INSTRUCTION FOR POSTER AUTHORS

- Watch who signed up to discuss your poster at coffee breaks
- Attend the breaks, keep close to your poster, and present your work to all interested participants, first those who signed up, then others as time allows
INSTRUCTION FOR SESSION CHAIRS

- Prepare questions for each paper scheduled in your session
- Identify all authors presenting at your session and note any absences to program chairs
- Introduce the session topic and the presenters
- For each paper:

- Display the current presentation on the projector-connected computer installed in the session room from the appropriate session folder
- Allow about 15 minutes for presentation
- Allow additional 5 minutes for questions from the audience
- If needed, ask your questions, but first give opportunity to the audience o Send your prepared questions to the authors after the session by email
- Make sure that the session finishes on-time, allowing at most 20 minutes per paper 7. Note that your session may share a 2-hour time slot with other session starting immediately afterwards or it may continue into another 2-hour time slot 8. Summarize the main outcomes of your session – presentations and discussions – and upload the summary document to your session folder during the conference 9. In every conference room there will be a member of the local organization team to provide help and a least one student volunteer to handle microphones
