The Graduate School of Public Administration (GSPA) at Seoul National University is one of the top leading education institutes in Asia that achieved its success through its world-class research and educational infrastructure, strong ties and network with developing countries, and numerous professional training programs.

According to the 2021 QS World University Ranking by Subject,  in the area of Social Policy & Administration, Seoul National University was ranked as 11th in the world, showing its upward trend from 15th place in 2017.

The GSPA has 28 full-time faculty members, whose research expertise ranges over diverse topics including but not limited to: public administration, public policy, economics, political science, law, social science, and journalism.

The graduate school holds seminars with more than 30 international scholars and hosts around 5 international workshops or gatherings each year.

GSPA (buildings 57 and 57-1) at the SNU is equipped with several theaters that can hold approximately 100 people each and numerous classrooms and conference rooms for smaller group presentations and discussions. Auditorium at the University Cultural Center (maximum capacity: 407 seats) is also in the vicinity of the GSPA buildings.

Seoul is one of the most visited cities in the world, with countless tourist attractions and a variety of social and cultural activities throughout the year, as well as outstanding restaurants serving all types of cuisine and food around the world.

Examples of activities that may be interesting for dg.o participants would include a bus trip around the Seoul city, a group visit to the 14th century palace, or a visit to the Demilitarized Zone.
