SPRINGER PROCEEDINGS

Accepted full research papers (max. 16 pages) will be published in the Springer LNCS IFIP EGOV or IFIP EPART proceedings. The EGOV proceedings covers the general E-Government & Open Government, Emerging Issues and Innovations, Smart Cities, AI, Data Analytics and Automated Decision Making, and Open Data tracks; whereas the EPART proceedings will cover the general E-Democracy & eParticipation, ICT & Sustainability, Legal Informatics, Social Media and Digital Society tracks. The Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) is a series of computer science books published by Springer Science+Business Media (formerly Springer-Verlag) since 1973. The LNCS proceedings are always well-downloaded and read.

Accepted papers in the categories of Ongoing Research (max. 12 pages), Reflections and Viewpoints (max. 6 pages), Practitioner Papers (max. 8 pages), projects (max. 8 pages), workshops (max. 2 pages), panel proposals (max. 2 pages), and posters (max. 2 pages) will be published (but, if desired, can be excluded) by in the CEUR-WS proceedings series (http://ceur-ws.org/). The CEUR Proceedings (CEUR-WS.org) is a free open-access publication service at Sun SITE Central Europe operated under the umbrella of RWTH Aachen University. CEUR-WS.org is a recognized ISSN publication series. Prepare for Double-blind Review

The first page should contain only the title, abstract, 3-5 keywords characterising the content of the paper.
The remaining pages should include the main body of the submission and all references, figures, tables, etc.

Anonymizing for Blind Review

Author name(s) should not appear in the paper (including the abstract).
Eliminate references to your institutions, your sponsors, your unpublished work, and your published work if done in a way that identifies you as author. All author names must be inserted in the online submission form. Delete author and institution information from document properties. We kindly ask you not to indicate your name and affiliation in the paper. Indicate 3-5 keywords for your paper as well as to which topic your paper fits best.

Criteria for Completed Research Papers

Papers submitted in this category should deal with completed research.
They should have both relevance and a strong focus on scientific rigor and may be a maximum of 16 pages. Papers in this category will be peer-reviewed for rigor, relevance, originality and clarity of presentation. Abstracts or incomplete papers will not be accepted.

  • Fit with track.
  • Interesting/important problem.
  • Clear motivation (why the problem is interesting theoretically and/or practically).
  • Conceptual development and grounding in prior literature.
  • Methodological adequacy (if relevant).
  • Adequate list of references to related work and grounding theories.
  • Interesting findings.
  • Well structured and clearly written paper.
  • Maximum length of paper: 16 pages in Springer LNCS format.
  • Papers in this section will be double blind reviewed by 3 reviewers for rigor, relevance, originality and clarity of presentation.
