REGISTRATION FEES DG.O 2026

Registration fee includes: Welcome reception in day 1, morning and afternoon coffee breaks and lunches days 2-4, and award dinner in day 3. PhD students attending the PhD Colloquium and workshops’ attendees will also have the morning and afternoon coffee break and the lunch covered in day.
Registration fees are based on the United Nation’s Human Development Index (HDI) adjusted for inequality of the country where the conference attendee lives and works (see here: PDF file).
This year, the Digital Government Society will fund up to ten registration and travel grants than will cover registration for dg.o 2026 (as far as the attendee has a paper accepted at the conference) as well as some traveling costs, such as plane tickets and hotels. The grants will prioritize attendees (both faculty and PhD students) from the Global South. More information at Travel Grants .

CANCELLATION

No refunds will be available unless: 
▶You are unable to obtain a visa entry into United States, or 
▶You are prevented from attending the annual conference due to COVID-related restrictions, such as travel or quarantine requirements. 
In these two cases, refunds will be deducted 20% of the registration fee to cover incurred costs. 
However, if the author wishes to publish their paper, refunds will be deducted $250.00 of the registration fee to cover incurred costs. A decision must be made before May 5.
