From Norms to Action: Reflections on dg.o 2026
The Annual International Conference on Digital Government Research (dg.o 2026) is a vital global forum where academic research directly shapes better international public policies and digital services. At this year’s event, I had the honor of presenting the paper “From Norms to Action: Operationalizing Digital Accessibility in Brazil’s Federal Government.” Discussing how to transform complex accessibility standards into practical routines within government ecosystems with a global community of experts offered invaluable perspectives to advance our field.
An event of this scale, however, relies entirely on the dedication of those behind the scenes. I am deeply grateful for the immense support I received during every stage of registration, membership, and event planning. A very special thank you goes to Executive Assistant Paula Hauser and Professor Loni Hagen, whose prompt guidance and unwavering assistance were instrumental to my successful participation. The insights gained at dg.o 2026 reinforce our commitment to building truly inclusive digital public services.
Sincerely,
Nicolau Jofilsan
