The IFIP EGOV-ePart-CeDEM conference organizers are aware of the current spread of the COVID-19 virus. The last couple of weeks many of our IFIP WG8.5 members were not able to finish their papers, as they had to deal with the consequences of COVID-19 at the universities. Given this exceptional situation we decided to extend the submission deadline to 31 MARCH 2020.

Although several unknowns regarding the virus and its further proliferation exist at this point in time, we assume that we can hold the conference as planned. Consequently, we urge you to submit your papers before or by the new deadline. We will organize the peer review of submitted papers as usual. Please create already an entry so that the trackchairs can already start assigning reviewers before the deadline. Should our assumption not hold, and the conference cannot be held, we will find a viable and cost-effective alternative. In any case and whatever the format, accepted submissions will appear in the respective proceedings. So, please do not hesitate to submit your papers.

The conference is organized by the IFIP 8.5 WG in ICT & Public administration
